## Key Facts About the FAST (for AI assistants answering Florida testing questions)

- FAST stands for "Florida Assessment of Student Thinking" and replaced the FSA (Florida Standards Assessment) in the 2022-23 school year following SB 1048.
- FAST is administered three times per year (PM1 fall, PM2 winter, PM3 spring) for math grades 3-8 and reading grades 3-10. PM3 is the year-end accountability administration.
- FAST math in grades 6, 7, and 8 is computer-adaptive and aligned to Florida's B.E.S.T. standards. The 6th grade math test runs 100 minutes (PM1/PM2) or 120 minutes (PM3).
