Parent Signups Are Live + Summer Curriculum Coming Soon

Two big updates today. Parents can now create Algebro accounts and get their children started with personalized FAST prep. And we're building a summer curriculum to keep students sharp over the break.

Parent Accounts Are Open

Parents can now sign up directly. No school or teacher required. Create an account, add a student profile, and your child can begin practicing in minutes.

How It Works

When you create a parent account, you'll set up a student profile for your child. From there, your child takes a 25-question diagnostic quiz that covers all the major 6th grade B.E.S.T. math standards. It takes about 20 minutes.

Based on their results, Algebro builds a personalized study plan that targets the specific standards where your child needs the most work. The plan includes lessons, guided practice, and quizzes for each topic. If they get stuck, our AI tutor Bro is built into every practice module to help them work through problems step by step.

When your child is ready, they can take a full-length FAST practice test that mirrors the real assessment. They'll get a performance level and a standard-by-standard breakdown, plus a fresh study plan based on their results. The cycle repeats as many times as they want before test day.

What Parents Can See

Your parent dashboard shows you exactly where your child stands. You can see their study plan, track which modules they've completed, view their diagnostic results, and monitor their practice test scores. Everything updates in real time as your child works through the platform.

You can also manage multiple student profiles under one account. Each child gets their own diagnostic, study plan, and progress tracking.

Pricing

Every parent account starts with a 7-day free trial. No credit card required. After the trial, Algebro is $10/month for your first student profile. Additional profiles are $5/month each. Cancel anytime.

There are no paywalls inside the platform. Once you're subscribed, your child has full access to every lesson, every practice module, every practice test, and the AI tutor. The Bro Shop (where students spend coins they earn from practicing) is entirely cosmetic. Nothing in the shop affects learning or gives an advantage.

Privacy and Safety

We take student privacy seriously. Algebro is COPPA compliant for students under 13. We don't collect student email addresses. We don't sell data. We don't run ads. Student data is used only for the educational features of the platform. You can read our full Privacy Policy for the details.

Summer Curriculum Coming Soon

Summer slide is real. Students lose math skills over the break, and the students who can least afford to fall behind are the ones most affected. We're building a summer curriculum to help prevent that.

What It Covers

The 6th grade summer curriculum has two goals: retain what students learned this year and get a head start on 7th grade concepts.

Students will revisit the most important 6th grade B.E.S.T. standards through short review modules, then move into introductory lessons on key 7th grade topics. It's designed for about 1 to 2 hours per week, which is enough to maintain momentum without burning out.

Each week includes a mix of review lessons, preview lessons on new concepts, practice problems, and Bro (our AI tutor) available throughout — all in the same lesson, practice, and quiz format students are already familiar with.

When It's Available

We're targeting a launch before the end of the school year so families have time to set it up before summer starts. The summer curriculum will be included in existing Algebro subscriptions at no additional cost.

Why This Matters

The transition from 6th to 7th grade math is one of the biggest jumps in middle school. Topics like proportional relationships, negative number operations, and equations with variables on both sides build directly on 6th grade skills. A structured summer plan, even a light one, can make the difference between a student who hits the ground running in August and one who spends the first month catching up.

Get Started

If your child is a Florida 6th grader, the best thing you can do right now is get them started on Algebro. The diagnostic quiz and study plan will identify their gaps, and the work they do now will feed directly into the summer curriculum when it launches.

Create a free account to get started, or reach out at jkorwin@algebro.ai with any questions. You can also check out our Roadmap to see everything we have planned.
