Algebro

For Florida math teachers

Know Exactly Who Is Behind, and On What

Algebro tells you which B.E.S.T. benchmarks each student is actually missing, then builds the practice that fixes them. You stay the teacher; it does the sorting.

Built for grades 6, 7, 8 and Algebra 1. Every question maps to a benchmark, the practice tests look like the real FAST, and students join with a class code and sign in with their school Google account or a username, so you can have a class working the same day.

Thirty minutes on Zoom with me, about your grade level and your class. Plenty of teachers book one before their school has decided anything.

Every student, class and score in this video is demo data. No real student data is shown.

Prefer to click around yourself? The interactive demo runs on sample data, no account needed.

What you would actually use it for

Six Things That Stop Being Your Job

  • I need to know what to reteach tomorrow

The class dashboard sorts every benchmark by how the class actually did, worst first. Click one and you get the students who missed it and the questions they missed.

  • I have five kids who are two years behind

A 25-question diagnostic places each student, then builds them a study plan that targets their own gaps and skips what they already know. You do not write five intervention plans.

  • I want to assign practice without building it

Pick benchmarks, pick a length, assign. The bank has 37,000+ questions across grades 6-8 and Algebra 1, all mapped to B.E.S.T., all graded automatically.

  • I already have worksheets I like

Upload a PDF or a Word file and Algebro turns it into an assignment it can grade, questions and diagrams included. Your material, its grading.

  • I want review that is not another worksheet

Host a live class game on any set of standards. Students join from their own screens with a code, and you get the same benchmark data out of it.

  • I need my kids ready for the actual test

Full-length adaptive FAST practice tests for grades 6-8 and an EOC practice test for Algebra 1, with the same on-screen calculator and reference sheet they get on test day.

Questions teachers ask

Answered Without a Sales Call

Open any line for the full answer. Nothing here is behind a form.

How long does this take to set up?About ten minutes for you, and one class code for your students.

Your school admin gives you a school code, you sign up with it, and you generate one join code per class. Students enter that code, then sign up with their school Google account or pick a username. There is no roster import to wait on and nothing for anyone to install.

Google sign-in for students is on by default; your school administrator can turn it off in one click, and then students use a username and password. If your school uses ClassLink, students can sign in straight from LaunchPad instead. Class codes work everywhere either way.

Does it replace my instruction? No. It handles diagnosis, practice and grading, so the time you spend teaching is spent on what the data says is broken.

Algebro does not teach your lesson. It tells you which benchmarks the class is weakest on before you plan, gives students targeted practice on their own gaps, and grades all of it automatically.

Teachers use it for classwork, intervention, review, homework and FAST preparation. What it is not is a curriculum you have to follow in order.

What do my students actually see?A study plan built from their own diagnostic, practice on their gaps, and Bro, who hints instead of handing over answers.

Students get a dashboard with the work waiting for them, lessons and practice on the benchmarks they are missing, and full-length practice tests when you assign them.

When they get stuck, Bro gives a hint first, then a worked explanation, and never the bare answer. Bro receives the math problem and the student work, never a name or a username.

There are no ads anywhere on the platform, and no web analytics on any student page.

Can I use my own materials?Yes. Upload a worksheet as a PDF or Word file and it becomes an assignment Algebro grades.

The importer reads the questions, including diagrams and tables, and turns them into gradeable items you can edit before assigning. You are not retyping anything.

You can also build sets by hand from the question bank, mix imported and bank questions, and save a set to reuse next year.

How does grading work?Automatically, for every question type, with a queue for the written answers that need your eyes.

Multiple choice, multi-select, drag and drop, dropdowns, equations, tables and graphs are all graded by the same engine the practice tests use, so a student sees the result immediately.

Open-response questions go to a grading queue where you score them yourself. Nothing written by a student is graded by AI.

What does it cost me?Nothing. Teachers cannot buy Algebro; schools license it at $10 per student per year, and partner schools for 2026-27 pay nothing at all.

If your school already has Algebro, your account is included. Ask your school administrator for the school code.

If it does not, the schools page has the price, a calculator, and the no-cost partnership for Florida schools this year. Teachers are usually the reason a school ends up on a call, so if you want it, that page is what to forward.

If your school does not have it yet

Forward One Page to Whoever Decides

Most schools on Algebro got there because a teacher asked. The schools page has the price, what setup involves, and every privacy answer a technology office needs, so nobody has to sit through a pitch to find out whether it is worth a call.

What is on that page

  • $10 per student per year, prorated if you join partway through
  • A limited number of Florida schools get 2026-27 at no cost
  • FERPA and COPPA posture, subprocessors and security, all public
  • Setup is one school code and a class code per teacher

Already using Algebro at your school? Your account is included. Ask your school administrator for the school code, or sign up if you already have one.
